I am deeply honored to be recognized as Nollywood’s second highest grossing actor in 2025 based on the combined box office performance of the films I appeared in throughout the year. The total gross from those features reached 1.362 billion naira — a figure that belongs to every single person who brought these stories to life and to every audience member who showed up to support them.

Behind The Scenes was the highest grossing film of the year and a major part of that combined total. Bringing Johnson to life in that production was a privilege I’ll always carry with me. I’m so grateful to Funke Akindele for believing in me and for creating such a massive, entertaining experience that resonated with so many people.

Freedom Way also held special weight. Earning the title of AMVCA Film of the Year after everything we poured into it was beautiful validation. Playing Abiola, a young father fighting to protect his family and dreams against corruption and brutality, pushed me in ways I’m still grateful for. Thank you to Blessing Uzzi for the trust and for telling a story that struck so many hearts.

The year was filled with other powerful collaborations too. I was proud to join the Fantastic Four — Kie Kie, Bisola, Bolaji and Wunmi — for the record-breaking Gingerrr, to work with the bold and brilliant Nora Awolowo on Red Circle, and to be part of the unforgettable Son of Iron under Tunde Olaoye’s distinctive direction.

None of these achievements happen alone. They come from visionary directors, fearless producers, talented casts and hardworking crews who give everything, and most importantly from audiences who buy tickets, share the films, talk about them, and keep showing love.

I remain grateful, grounded, and excited to keep telling stories that matter. Every laugh, every tear, every conversation these films spark is exactly why we do this.
