6 years later, and we are still dealing with insecurity, hunger, poverty, and a lack of proper health care. We are still living with the highest level of corruption and impunity. Six years on, the same problems are still here.

The saddest part is that we are even more divided as a people, at a time when we should be most united. The things that hurt us are the same for all of us, yet we keep turning on each other instead of facing the people and the system that are failing us.

I hope one day we truly realize the power that we have as citizens. A few selfish individuals should not be allowed to destroy the success and prosperity of the majority of us. We are more than they are, and what happens to this country should not be decided by a handful of people at the top.
